Welcome to the LSBU Criminology Society.
Recently we held an Employability event for our students to gain an insight into the work lives of a probation officer, a police officer and a prison officer. We feel that it is important to give our students a real -life feel of jobs in the field of criminology before they graduate to allow them to apply and work somewhere that they feel passionately about.
The feedback from the guest speakers was that the event was hugely successful and they commented that they wished this sort of exercise would’ve been available to them when they were at university.
